Mannequin busts
These mannequin busts are tailored for the avid modeller and converter. The modeller has the opportunity to build on using a two-part epoxy putty or carve down using a scalpel knife. You may sand certain areas however it is recommended that you do this in a ventilated area and/or using a face mask. Please do take the necessary precautions when sanding as the fine particles of dust are harmful. It is recommended that after sanding you use some fine steelwool to gently buff the area which will result in a smooth finish. To build up on the mannequin, you may use two-part epoxy putties e.g. Magic Sculp, Milliput, ProCreate or Duro (Green Stuff); the tools you will need include a sculpting tool of your preference, scalpel, fine sandpaper and fine steelwool as well as a fine painting brush to smooth out certain areas. Most important of all, you will need a great deal of patience and good reference material to complete your project.
