Figure Conversion Techniques

The tutorial is presented in 3 languages (English, Spanish and French) and consists of the following parts:

• Requirements to undertake the conversion:

  - Tools

  - Preparation of the putty

• Conversion of a marching Praetorian Guard into a standing Praetorian Guard

  - Preparation of the left leg

  - Preparation of the helmet and the cloak

  - Positioning of the rest of the pieces

  - Puttying

  - Reconstruction of the hood (Phase 1)

  - Reconstruction of the hood (Phase 2)

• Conversion of an Infantryman (1800) into a running Grenadier Sergeant

  - Conversion of the left leg

  - Positioning of the head, removal of the knapsack strap and putting together the other pieces

  - Puttying. Filling in at the leg and at the neck.

  - Puttying. Refilling the hole of the knapsack and making the strap

• Mounting a Hussar (1814) onto a horse

  - Preparation of the legs

  - Reconstruction of the legs

  - Puttying and finalisation of the rest of the pieces
