FAUN

As is obvious, this figure is strongly inspired by the creature created by the award winning special effects company DDT SFX for the film "Pan's labyrinth", directed by Guillermo del Toro.
Some noticable aesthetic changes of our work in respect to the original creature from the Oscar winning film, are due, not to an urge to evade an orthodox version, but more to a desire to enrich the detail of the miniature through an effect of volume and texture which provide the painter with greater chromatic possibilities.

SUGGESTIONS

Body and extremities in natural tree trunk (The different layers of the bark permit various combinations of colours)
The hair of vegetable origin, like linen, flax, reed or sea grass.
The Horns, Sheep.
