Several of the figures included in this kit have been released as individual figure kits; DS-TW14 Numonius Vala, DS-TW15 Roman Trooper, and DS-TW16 German with spear. Originally this was conceived as Vala's Breakout, a much larger composition. Included in this model are figures of a Roman Optio and Two Germanic Warriors that were not previously available, as well as a detailed scenic base. Also included are two smaller vignette bases (DS-TW17A, and DS-TW17C). These bits were to be part of several other kits but were left out due to cost or packaging constraints. They are included here to complete the Teutoburger Vignettes for which they were originally designed. This kit is a special release for the Teutoburger Series II collectors who have requested that it be released.
