Postage and Shipping
!

Ordering through our online shop is very simple. Just click on the shopping cart and the item is added to your basket. Once you have finished shopping, click on Basket ~ Checkout in the top menu and proceed to Checkout.

Postage is automatically calculated at the Checkout. We have recently changed our postal charges, as follows:

* As from April 2011, Royal Mail has increased the price of a First Class stamp by app. 14%. We have NOT increased our postal rates to the UK. We will still endeavour to send large UK orders by First Class Recorded Delivery, however, smaller packets will be sent by Second Class Recorded Delivery - except for magazines and smaller items.

** As from April 2011, Royal Mail has substantially increased its postal charges. Moreover, we have had a number of international orders getting lost in the post. As you will appreciate this is very costly and results in long delays and inconvenience. To this effect, we have reduced the airmail rate, but have automatically added a fixed cost of £4.95 to cover the cost of sending parcels worldwide by International Signed For delivery. This is to ensure safe TRACKING of the parcels overseas and eventual replacement/refund in case of loss. Please note that if a parcel has been signed for OR delivered to the overseas address, we will NOT issue a refund or send a replacement. Cancellations
!

On receipt of the items, please examine the goods carefully. If there are any problems, such as breakages or missing parts, please take note of the details and inform El Greco Miniatures accordingly within 7 days of receipt and a refund or replacement will be issued.

 

Customers wishing to cancel the order are required to do so within 7 days of receipt of the items. Kindly advise us in writing - by letter or e-mail - of your decision to cancel and El Greco Miniatures will reimburse you within 30 days, after receipt of the cancelled order. Items must be returned in their original packaging and in perfect condition.

Stock Items
!

Kindly note that all products listed on the website are available in stock, unless otherwise stated. Products may be listed as Out of Stock. The website would be updated once the products become available again. You may pre-order items which are out of stock but obviously these will only be mailed out once the shipments come in. This will all depend on each particular supplier and waiting times can be between 2 to 4 weeks. Kindly note that we will NOT place an order with a supplier just for 1 particular kit but will wait until we can place a substantial order.

Also note that in busy periods, such as at Christmas time or during a sale/model show, we would not be able to upload stock levels immediately. So stock levels may be slightly incorrect during these times. We will send an e-mail to advise you if an ordered item is out of stock.

Alternatively, before placing an order, you may wish to send us an e-mail to check when we expect to have the item back in stock.

Orders are generally processed by the next working day.

Prices and Payments

All prices on this web site are quoted in pounds sterling and are correct as at the last update of the website. By clicking on 'Pick your currency' at the top right of the window, you will be able to view the prices in your preferred currency. Prices are subject to change without notice; however, once an order is placed, the price is guaranteed.
 
Prices quoted are inclusive of  VAT. For orders outside the EU, there will be a reduction of 20% which reflects VAT in the UK.
 
Payments may be effected by credit card, postal orders or by cheque (UK residents only). Where payment is effected by cheque, please note that goods will be dispatched once the cheque has been cleared.
 
Items will be dispatched within 1 to 7 days of receipt of payment. If El Greco Miniatures is awaiting shipment of items or an item is out of stock, notification by e-mail, post or phone will be made within 7 days of receipt of order.

VAT
!

Kindly note that currently the VAT rate is set at 20% as from 4 January 2011.

VAT is applicable to all UK and EU customers but is automatically deducted at the checkout for customers outside the European Union.

The Order Process

Payment by credit card

 

On our website you can effect payment using several options. If you are paying directly by credit or debit card, just choose the required card type (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), fill in the required details (cardholder name, card number, expiry date and security code), followed by your billing address and delivery address if this is different. All this is processed on a secure site (through Globecharge) and El Greco Miniatures has no access to these card details.

 

Should you wish to do so, we can also accept credit/debit card payments over the phone.

 

You may also wish to pay by credit card through Paypal. Payment through Paypal is free. You are not required to register with Paypal if you do not wish to do so. For more information about Paypal, please visit this website: www.paypal.com.

Paypal Account Holders
!

1.      When you have finished shopping, go to the Basket.

2.      Select Checkout.

3.      At the Secure Checkout: select the Shipping Location and the Shipping Method (Royal Mail)

4.      Click on Secure Checkout: This opens a separate browser window

5.      Fill in your Billing Address.

6.      Click on Next. This will lead you to the Paypal page. (At this point, you will receive an e-mail from El Greco Miniatures confirming your order).

7.      Follow the on-screen Paypal instructions. Since you have a Paypal account, just login and proceed with the transaction.

8.      You will receive an e-mail from Paypal confirming payment. We would also be notified that payment has been received.

Payment by personal cheque, bank draft or postal orders (UK customers)

1.     When you have finished shopping, go to the Basket.

2.     Select Checkout.

3.     At the Secure Checkout: select the Shipping Location and the Shipping Method (Royal Mail)

4.     Click on Secure Checkout: This opens a separate browser window

5.     Fill in your Billing Address.

6.     In the box [ Comments ], fill in:

7.     "I will be paying by cheque."

8.     Click on Next. This will lead you to the Paypal page. At this point, you will receive an e-mail from El Greco Miniatures confirming your order. We would also have received your order notification.

9.     Close the Paypal browser window.

10.  Print out the e-mail confirming your order and mail it with the cheque or postal order.

No Paypal Account?
!

1.      When you have finished shopping, go to the Basket.

2.      Select Checkout.

3.      At the Secure Checkout: select the Shipping Location and the Shipping Method (Royal Mail)

4.      Click on Secure Checkout: This opens a separate browser window

5.      Fill in your Billing Address.

6.      Click on Next. This will lead you to the Paypal page. (At this point, you will receive an e-mail from El Greco Miniatures confirming your order).

7.      Follow the on-screen Paypal instructions. (Remember - you do not need a Paypal account to pay through Paypal!)

8.      Since you do not have a Paypal account, go to

a.     your credit card information;

b.    your billing address;

c.     your contact information and security check (where you have to fill in the code that shows up on the screen)

10.    Then, click on Continue Checkout.

11.    Review your order, which will lead to the end of the transaction.

12.    You will receive an e-mail from Paypal confirming payment. We would also be notified that payment has been received.

Privacy

No personal information is collected when you access this web site. El Greco Miniatures complies with the Data Protection Act 1998 and may record your name and address on its computer systems. This will be for the sole use of El Greco Miniatures for accounting and book-keeping purposes. Your details will not be passed to any third party unless required to do so by law. Such disclosures will be restricted to those third parties which are necessary for accounts and records, for example, accountants.
