NEW EU Packaging Waste legislation

NEW LEGISLATION: The EU is introducing new legislation on Packaging Waste which affects all businesses within the EU and non-EU:

Presently, this legislation requires small and micro businesses to register with each member state and report monthly on the 'packaging waste' sent with every parcel (whether small or large). There is no distinction between mega corporations and small artisanal shops. There is no exemption for small business and artisan shops. Fines are hefty for non-implementation and, therefore, until this new legislation is more clear, we shall have to suspend sales to the EU until further notice. 

The new legislation comes into force on 12 August 2026 and we may refund or seek alternative methods to send off any pending EU orders.
