Pin-up is a term associated with the models that, since the 1920's, appeared in magazines such as Film Fun, Photoplay, Laff and calendars such as Esquire. These photographs and illustrations became icons of pulp culture.

Among the most outstanding artists of this genre are Charles Dana Gibson, Gil Elvgren or the current Fiona Stephenson among many other great names.
