Flamma, a Syrian-born Secutor, fought 34 recorded battles and was awarded the rudis, a symbol of earned freedom four times. Each time, he chose to return to the arena.

This model captures Flamma at the height of his brutal glory, sword poised, knee on his defeated foe, helmet impassive under the roar of the crowd.
