WHY YOU SHOULD CONSIDER BUYING THIS FIGURE:

– Our figure has a nice pose, inspired by the air of the period.
– It has plenty of options for painting and allows depicting different regiments of the Continental Army.
– Our signature resin quality allows you to get the figure clean and ready in almost no time, so you may invest your precious free time in what matters: painting and having fun.

The Continental Army was created after the outbreak of the American Revolutionary War by a resolution of the Continental Congress on June 14th, 1775 that answered the desperate need of raising a full military force to fight against the British Army.

At the beginning, the Thirteen Colonies didn’t have an army and had to rely on Militias. Also, the first continental army suffered hard from the lack of supplies and trained officers. In spite of this, they grew in confidence and efficiency as the conflict developed and became quite an effective army in the best tradition of European standards.

Our bust depicts a generic Continental Infantryman that can be painted in a big array of combinations depending on the regiment of choice. For this version, we have chosen the 1st Pennsylvania regiment that sports the combination of blue uniforms with red facings that was assigned to these troops.
